Home Information Packs (HIPs)
Since the end of 2007, all properties newly marketed in the UK are required by law to have a Home Information Pack (HIP). The HIP contains the following key information about the property:
- Details of title from the land registry
- An energy performance certificate
- Local authority, water and drainage searches
If you do not have a current HIP for your property, we can arrange for one to be compiled for you.
Conveyancing
By law, only members of the Law society are allowed to provide legal services in the UK, so Blade regrets that it can't offer you any of the conveyancing services required for the formal transfer of the property. If you wish, we can put you in touch with local solictors who specialise in conveyancing.
